Join Leadership Hillsborough for an exclusive culinary journey through historic Ybor City. This inaugural seminar in our "First Series" offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the establishments that define Tampa’s unique food identity.
We are honored to have Kiva Williams (The Fun Foodie Mama, LH Class of 2024) as our host for this special occasion.

The Itinerary
Depart: Children’s Board of Hillsborough County at 9:00am
1st Stop - 9:30am-10:30am:
7th + Grove & Madame Fortune Teller
Next, we visit the vibrant 7th + Grove and Madame Fortune Teller. We’ll hear directly from the owner(s) about their journey, the inspiration behind these two distinct concepts, and their impact on Ybor’s modern food scene.
2nd Stop 11am to 12pm:
La Segunda Central Bakery
We begin at the heart of Ybor’s baking history. Enjoy a private tour of the bakery to see how their world-famous Cuban bread is made, followed by an insightful talk from the La Segunda leadership team on maintaining a legacy.
3rd Stop – 12:30pm to 2:00pm:
Tour & Lunch at Columbia Restaurant
To conclude the day, we will enjoy a full lunch (included with your ticket) at the legendary Columbia Restaurant. During our visit, we’ll tour the historic building and have the unique opportunity to meet with members of the founding family to discuss their five generations of success.
