Committee Descriptions:

• Recruitment Committee: 

The Recruitment Committee is responsible for attracting new members to our organization and ensuring a diverse and engaged community.

Table & Attend Community Outreach Events:  This committee focuses on representing our organization at community events, fostering connections, and spreading awareness about our organization initiatives.

Coordinate LH Info Sessions: The recruitment committee also organizes informative sessions to educate members and the public about our organization's goals, values, and process. These session are perfect for individual(s) who are interested in joining Leadership Hillsborough.

Alumni Advisory & Membership Retention: 
Dedicated to maintaining strong relationships with alumni and ensuring member satisfaction and retention.

Networking After 5: This committee orchestrates networking events after business hours, providing opportunities for members to connect and foster professional relationships.

Coffee Connections: Engages members through casual coffee meetups, facilitating meaningful conversations and connections.

Educational Programs: Develops and implements educational initiatives to empower members with valuable skills and knowledge.

Professional Development Day:  Organizes an annual Professional Development Day, offering workshops, seminars, and resources for career growth.

Alumni Spotlight: Works with the communications committee to highlight the achievements and contributions of our alumni, showcasing their success stories and inspiring our community.

Communications Committee:  
Manages internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging and engagement across all channels.

Website Committee:  Maintains and updates our organization's website to provide current information and enhance user experience.

Social Media Committee:  Oversees our presence on social media platforms, creating engaging content and fostering online community interaction.

Newsletter Committee:  Curates and distributes regular newsletters to keep members informed about upcoming events, initiatives, and updates.

Meet the Board Committee:  Facilitates posts on our social media and website that highlight our organization's leadership team.

Community Relations Committee: 
 Cultivates relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to foster collaboration and support.

Fundraising Committee: Plans and executes fundraising initiatives to support our organization's mission and programs.

Sponsorship Committee:  Seeks and manages sponsorships from businesses and organizations to support our events and activities.

Development Committee:  Focuses on long-term strategic planning and sustainability efforts for our organization's growth and development.

Public Service Committee: Coordinates volunteer opportunities and community service projects to give back to the community.

Class Liaison Committee:

Acts as the liaison between the organization and the class to ensure the class needs and interests are represented.

Day of Class Seminar Coordination(s):  Oversees the seminars day(s) logistics by making sure the day stays on schedule to ensure the class sessions are enhance learning experiences.

Nominating Committee:

 Board Member Nominations: Oversees the nomination for board members under the direction of the chair. 

Scholarship Award Nominations: Play a key role in the scholarship application awards by sending recommendations of recipient(s) to the board.

Charity Golf Drive Committee: 

Plans and executes our annual charity golf drive event, raising funds for a worthy cause while fostering camaraderie among participants.

Holiday Gift Wrapping Drive Committee: 

Coordinates our holiday gift wrapping drive, spreading cheer while raising funds for charitable initiatives.

Volunteer Coordination Committee: 

Recruits, trains, and organizes volunteers to support our organization's events and activities.

Seminar Day Planning & Coordination Committee:

Plans and coordinates logistics for seminar day(s), ensuring smooth execution and a valuable experience for participants.
