HOW DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORK?
Each class is composed of participants who are selected from a pool of nominees submitted by members of the Board of Directors, alumni, current class members, businesses and community groups. Leadership Hillsborough makes every effort to ensure that each class has representatives from all areas of the County, and strives for diversity in occupation, ethnicity, race, age and gender. The Recruitment Committee makes recommendations, and the Board of Directors votes to approve incoming class members.
The tuition cost includes all programming materials, meals, transportation, overnight retreats, activities, and graduation. Frequently, the participant’s employee pays this fee as an investment in professional development and community networking. Scholarship applications are also considered.
